How to Use

Keep the potli closed throughout—you do not need to open it.

1. Remove only the alum (fitkari) piece attached to the top of the potli.
2. Hold the alum in your right hand and walk through your entire home, setting the intention to release nazar and welcome protection.
3. Once you have finished, flush the alum piece down one of your toilets.
4. Hang the closed potli in your chosen space.

Where to Hang

An ideal place is the left-hand corner of your main door, inside your home. You can also hang it in your office, car or any room where you wish to invite protection. If placed in a children’s bedroom, keep it safely out of their reach.

Important Placement Note

Keep the Kirtimukh image facing the wall, with the printed side hidden. Anyone looking at the hanging potli should see only its plain black side.
